At Cloverdale Robotics Learning (CRL), we believe every child carries a unique talent — whether in technology or beyond. If a child shows a spark for tech, our mission is to identify it early, offer diverse opportunities to explore, and guide them toward a meaningful future at their own pace. We do this while keeping programs affordable, predictable, and easy for families to support.
CRL was founded in 2019 by seasoned industry professionals who witnessed a troubling pattern: many brilliant young engineers felt trapped in careers they weren’t passionate about, often realizing it too late — in college or well into their professional journeys.
We believe the root cause lies in the early years. Career choices start forming as young as elementary school, yet most children — and their parents — are left navigating with little real-world guidance. Traditional education rarely keeps pace with emerging technology domains.
That’s why we built CRL: to help students explore real-world technologies early, discover where their true passions lie, and make informed, confident career decisions — not based on trends or guesses, but on real world ish experience in those tech sub-fields.
For imaginative minds passionate about drawing, design, and storytelling through technology — without the barriers of heavy math or coding.
For future builders, inventors, and creators who love bringing machines to life with real-world technology.
For logical thinkers and problem-solvers who thrive on designing smart solutions — no heavy building involved.
Students and parents have the freedom to switch between streams as they explore different fields, allowing true discovery without pressure. Along the way, CRL provides detailed progress reports for each stream, for each term, giving parents clear insight into their child’s evolving talents and passions.
Explorers
40 hours per stream (Robotics/Coding/DA). Total 120 hours
Project Based Learning
80 hours per stream (Robotics/Coding/DA)
40 hours in class, 40 hours of home-based projects. Total 240 hours.
Engineers/Practitioners
Eight advanced projects per stream
(2–3 months each project), helping students develop professional-grade portfolios.
Since our founding, CRL has expanded to over 50 schools across the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, Canada, and continues to grow. Our vision is simple but powerful: to prepare the next generation of creators, thinkers, and leaders — by helping each child find the path that fits them best.
